Students may register for private music lessons for the Spring Semester. The price of music lessons for the semester (12 ½-hour lessons) is $450. Please note that after the 2nd lesson of the semester, the student is committed to the conclusion of that semester and a refund will not be issued.
Lessons will be conducted in person at Gwynedd Mercy, or online through Microsoft Teams. A combination of both platforms is also possible. Two makeup lessons per semester will be allowed, if more than 24 hours' notice is given to the teacher with valid reason for missing the lesson (i.e. illness) Lessons that fall on school holidays, snow-days can be offered through Microsoft Teams.
If an instructor is absent, the lesson will be rescheduled. Please note that it is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements in advance if you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson time. Failure to inform your instructor in a timely manner that you are unable to attend your lesson does not constitute an excused absence and will result in the forfeiture of your lesson.
Parents will be notified in the case of repeated absences and the student will be dropped from the music teacher’s roster.
We ask that both student and parent electronically sign the contract to acknowledge that they have read and accept the conditions stated above. The contract must be submitted by the start of the student’s lessons.
